Royal Pharmaceutical Society
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society were our first client in 2001, and we’re very proud to count them among our clients ten years later. Our latest project has proven that our database and design skills are just what new pharmacists need to prepare for their registration exams.
This 'pay-per-use' website was created by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society for trainee pharmacists to use as part of their pre-qualification revision. Carefully constructed questions are held in a SQLServer database, where they are classified into three main themes to reflect the nature of the examination itself. Students using the system are able to pay for access to the website, choosing how many questions they want to answer in a single session. Questions are then selected at random, but the three themes of the questions are always represented according to their weighting in the examination. On completion of the questions, students are advised their score and given the correct answers – with explanations – to any they have answered incorrectly.
