So, is all news good news? Well, yes, it is when it’s driving more and more traffic to your website. The News Module – now standard in the Redwing SM3 CMS, makes news work for you and your audience, on your website and in social media.

‘Returning visitors’ are key indicator of a successful website, and a vigorous programme of news, on the website and through social media, is a major factor in ensuring visitors come back to your website again and again. News story management has always been a core function of Redwing Content Management Systems, and now we’ve taken that basic role a step further and created a module within the CMS that handles the news in the most flexible way yet. Each news story is handled as an individual, unique asset that can be placed wherever it is required within the website, automatically fed to social media sites, indexed, tagged, collated and archived precisely to each client’s requirements. Edgbaston High School took advantage of the module as soon as it became available – their website goes live next month when we’ll take a closer look at what it can do and how it does it.
