The United Kingdom's leading summer school takes place every summer at Marlborough College - parties from all over the world take part in a wide range of high quality educational and creative courses. Redwing were asked to submit a proposal showing how the complicated course booking process could work in the online environment. Our proposal addressed the entire course management and booking system, and we went on to create a back-office system that manages every aspect of the summer school. Course vacancy information and bookings are available, along with pricing, and students are able to compile and pay for a complete itinerary including accommodation, transport and dietary requirements. There is also a sophisticated 'parties' facility for multiple bookings. Online sales have grown by several hundred percent, allowing reduced spending on traditional media.
The new Summer School website has far exceeded expectations – the Redwing design team have captured the essence of our business, resulting in a marked increase in site activity this year. Redwing established an excellent working relationship with the Summer School and we look forward to sustaining our partnership into the future.
