Design and Build
Wherever possible we avoid lengthy website specification documents - once we've established the project objectives and brief, we work closely with our clients to deliver their website efficiently and effectively. We always produce alternative designs, and iteratively develop the design and interface to optimise the website usability and its operation.
We build websites using the most appropriate scripts and CSS page code, rigorously checked for web standards compliance. We aim to achieve the highest accessibility as practically possible for each client's needs.

Our Content Management Systems are incorporated into every website we build - all our clients have comprehensive control of their websites right from launch. Every website we build has unique operational requirements. We created a CMS to meet these requirements. This Content Management System now drives all the websites we build, and has become a successful management tool in its own right.
Utilising an extensive family of function modules, our clients are able to extend and enhance their website capabilities, almost without limit, and manage these functions from the same user-friendly control panel. All our function modules, activity reports, and the complete order fulfilment process can be managed through this single browser-based portal, enabling control of the website to be exercised securely from any web terminal. Any and every type of website function can be integrated to the Redwing CMS.

Redwing's SM3 eCommerce platform is a high-specification eCommerce package - stable and secure, it showcases products, builds complex orders with multiple product variables, and monitors, records, and responds effectively to customer behaviour.
SM3 integrates with back office stock management systems, and can be modified and adapted to suit unusual or complex business models. We can build eCommerce websites highly specified from launch, or for onward development on a modular basis.
Mobile Web & mCommerce
Redwing have produced a number of mobile optimised websites for existing clients, which have become essential in the growing demand for round- the- clock access to digital content. iPhone's and Smartphones have become a regular part of every day life and those clients that have embraced the mobile channel early on are already reaping the rewards.
We're now developing our mCommerce capability to deliver complete transactions seamlessly across multiple platform types.
Hosting & Support
Our commitment extends beyond the launch of the website to our hosting and support services. We usually host the websites we've built, on our own servers. We rigorously implement security and other software patches to ensure data security and integrity, and to maintain server performance. Our support service ensures that our clients get help as quickly as possible.
- Located in a secure hosting facility, servers sit behind security firewalls.
- Servers are net-connected with bandwidth far in excess of their normal requirement, so easily capable of handling traffic spikes our clients experience.
- Databases supporting the websites are continuously backed-up.
- Servers are monitored constantly for performance and availability to the internet.
- Work to rectify any failure is commenced immediately it is notified.
- Website assistance is available Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30.
