Full service digital agency Redwing has created the brand mark for Optimist Performance, the new business mentoring and lifestyle brand of former England Rugby Sevens captain, Ollie Phillips.
Since retiring from professional rugby, Phillips has embarked on a series of challenges, including sailing around the world, cycling across America, riding a rickshaw across India and recently climbing Kilimanjaro, while also working as a Director at PWC. Through Optimist Performance he will help companies and individuals by applying all of his experience to the world of business.
"I want to thank Redwing for devising the new brand mark, which I love,” said Phillips. “Redwing have been great in coming up with creative ideas, taking feedback on board and allowing a step-by-step process for rolling out the brand across the website and social media platforms.
“Since I retired from professional rugby I’ve been fortunate to get involved in a number of life-changing challenges and the compass and mountain imagery gives the perfect nod to that. Like my rugby, they have taught me huge amounts about leadership, team-building and managing change in tough environments and through working in the city I’ve learnt how powerful these things can be in creating a winning culture."
